The Message (MSG)

^11-18Every priest goes to work at the altar each day, offers the same old sacrifices year in, year out, and never makes a dent in the sin problem. As a priest, Christ made a single sacrifice for sins, and that was it! Then he sat down right beside God and waited for his enemies to cave in. It was a perfect sacrifice by a perfect person to perfect some very imperfect people. By that single offering, he did everything that needed to be done for everyone who takes part in the purifying process. The Holy Spirit confirms this:

   This new plan I’m making with Israel
      isn’t going to be written on paper,
      isn’t going to be chiseled in stone;
   This time “I’m writing out the plan in them,
      carving it on the lining of their hearts.”
He concludes,
   I’ll forever wipe the slate clean of their sins.
Once sins are taken care of for good, there’s no longer any need to offer sacrifices for them.

how can I go back to Singapore Lord?

When I watch this video, I feel so blessed. So blessed so blessed so blessed! But God there’s so much more, and there’s just something inside of me that cannot go back to Singapore.

But God if it’s Your will for me to go back, I will go back, as difficult as it may be. If it’s indeed Your will for me to stay on here or to further my studies, please continue to work in me, that I would be ready when You do open the door for me.

today yvonne and madoka came to church. uwaa!!

and yvonne raised her hand! UWAHH!!! i love it, how God works in such mysterious ways and yet He is always at work! she told me that her journey with God started when we were roomates and I invited her to church. when she went back to Shanghai, many other things happened. For one, her grandma fell sick and her mom became overburdened as a result of this. but even in the midst of bad things, God is at work. Through their security guard, the mom got to know about Jesus and she started reading the Bible and going to church, sometimes taking Yvonne with her along. and then in school, yvonne’s professor invited her to hear about the Gospel (when i heard this I was !!!). And now back in Japan, wow just how amazing is God?!!! I’m so truly excited for Yvonne. God loves her so much!!!

it’s just amazing how God can use people, and I pray that God will use me, even if I don’t see the fruits of my labour, I just pray that God WILL use me. I really want to reflect God’s glory more and more in my everyday life, and that His joy will just shine through me.

I really don’t have much time left.

I love this country and every time I’m in church I love this country even more.But I don’t think that it’s my time to stay in this country just yet. My vision is bigger than just Japan and I pray that I will be able to do something for God and for His kingdom.
